Forcing a localized vSphere Client installation to launch in English

Purpose

This article provides steps to force a localized installation of vSphere Client to launch using the English language.

Resolution

To launch vSphere Client and force it to use the English language, ensure that the English Language pack is installed on your Windows Operating system.

To ensure that the English Language pack is installed:

1. In Windows, Click Start > Run.
2. Run the command:"C:\Program Files\VMware\Infrastructure\Virtual Infrastructure Client\Launcher\VpxClient.exe" -locale en_US
    
3. Click OK.
